Biography

Born in june 1972, Mauricio Fernandes started playing at age of 12 when he got his very first guitar.

He became a professional guitar player, composer and arranger at his 17, ans since that has worked with several Brazilian artists as Marcinha, Kennia, Davidson, Ana Puk, Ludmilla Duk, Fábio e Eduardo, Banda Radar Brazuka, Pe Antônio Lima, Quarteto JB.

Recently he has joined forces with the christian heavy metal band União. Besides guitar lessons and workshops throughout the country Mauricio has released his firsts solo album "Vento Impetuoso" featuring guest musicians form the scene as Eloy Casagrande, Ney Medeiros, Marcelo Fleming, among others.
